LOCATION

The Faustina Hockey League plays all games at the new MasterCard Centre For Hockey Excellence,

400 Kipling Ave. Toronto. Just north of Lakeshore Blvd.

This is also the practice facility of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Marlies

GAME DAYS & TIMES

Saturday is primary game day for all divisions with the exception of one division (4 teams) playing

on Wednesday evenings on a rotating basis.

GAME DAY SCHEDULE

The first game of the day is 7am and the last game is 7:25pm

Wednesday games are 6:30pm and 7:25pm

With the exception of the Tyke division the different age based divisions move thru the game day

schedule on a rotational basis.

Everybody takes their turn at those early and late start times.

The Tyke division (5&6 yr old) plays all games in the late morning, 10am-11:45am Saturdays only.

The season long schedule for all teams is ready on the first day of the season so parents will

know weeks ahead when their player has a game.

SEASON SCHEDULE

The first game of the 2010/2011 season will be Saturday October 2nd, 2010.

The final day of the playoffs and season will end Saturday April 2nd, 2011.

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

We will offer house league for players born in 2005-1993 (5 to 17).

Female players are welcome and always do well against the boys in the younger divisions.

Non-Toronto residents are welcome if team spots are open.

TEAMS & DIVISIONS

Players are organized into teams and divisions by age and ability if needed.

Each age division, Tyke, Novice etc. is composed of players within one birth year of each other.

Last year we had 32 teams in 8 divisions for over 450 players.

Tyke, Novice and Atom divisions are 3 minute buzzer line changes and no body checking.

Peewee, Bantam and Midget divisions are change on the fly and body checking is allowed.

For Tyke & Novice, the maximum team size is 15 with the players taking turns playing goal.

Atom to Midget, the maxmimum is one full time goalie on each team.

PRACTICE

House league teams do not practice as teams during the season.

For Tyke and Novice divisions we will have scheduled in door ice practice all season long

where the new to hockey kids can work on their skating and hockey skills. Longbranch

Arena Tuesdays 5pm - 6pm.

For Atom and older we will have age group based skills practice sessions outdoors at the

Sir Adam Beck ice pad when weather permits on Sunday evening. There will also be a pre-

season skates for the younger players. Details will be at registration.

We also have a pre-season hockey school (Future Stars) that offers up to 10 hours of practice

time for interested house league players to improve their skills. Space is limited and the

cost $200.

COST

House Leage (Novice-Midget) registration fee for the 2010/2011 season will be $395.

Tyke (players born 2004/2005) registration fee will be $295.
